Privacy policy

The short version: we collect what the product needs to interview you and show your progress, audio is deleted within 30 days, nothing is sold to anyone, and one email deletes everything.
What we collect
Account data: your email, name if your login provider shares it, and the goal/field you pick at onboarding. Interview data: your spoken answers as audio (briefly), their transcripts, and the AI-generated reports and scores. Usage data: product events (interview started, report viewed) and standard page analytics via Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless.
We don't collect payment details today because nothing is paid yet; when paid tiers launch, payments will be handled by the payment provider, and card numbers will never touch our servers.
Audio is temporary
Recordings exist to be transcribed. Audio files live in a private bucket, are never public, and are automatically deleted within 30 days — long-term, only the text transcript and your reports are kept, because that's what your history and progress tracking need.
How your data is used
To run the product: transcribing your answers, generating questions, follow-ups, and reports with AI models, tracking your progress across sessions, and managing your interview credits. We also read aggregate usage to improve the product.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your interview content with employers or anyone else. Your practice is yours — the entire point of a mock interview is that it's safe to be bad in.
Who processes it
Opiliant runs on a small set of infrastructure providers: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics), and AI providers that process transcripts to generate interview questions and feedback. Each receives only what its job requires; none of them is permitted to use your content for anything but providing the service to us.
Your rights
Email hello@opiliant.com to export your data or delete your account; deletion removes your account, transcripts, and reports within 30 days, and any remaining audio immediately. If you're in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (GDPR and similar), those rights apply and the same inbox handles them.
