Opiliant reads the job description you paste and builds the interview around it — the questions a prepared interviewer would ask for that role.

It's the difference between rehearsing "tell me about yourself" and rehearsing the conversation where they ask why your project experience fits their exact requirement list. The second one is the interview you'll actually have on Tuesday.

How it works

  1. 1Copy the job posting — the whole thing, requirements and responsibilities included — and paste it when starting a round.
  2. 2The interviewer prepares questions for that posting: the skills it names, the responsibilities it describes, the seniority it implies.
  3. 3You do the voice interview with follow-ups as usual, and the scored report shows where your answers missed what this specific role is screening for.

When to use it

The moment you have a real interview scheduled. Run the JD interview two or three days before — early enough that the report's top 3 fixes are still actionable, late enough that the posting's details are fresh. Students juggling multiple applications run one per posting, because "backend intern at a fintech" and "backend intern at an edtech" interview differently even when the stack matches.

What kind of job descriptions work?

Any real posting with substance — campus placements, internships, off-campus roles. The more specific the JD (requirements, responsibilities, stack), the more targeted the questions; a two-line posting gets a solid role-based interview instead.

Does it cost extra to use a job description?
